Drake won dismissal of a lawsuit brought by his former collaborator and producer, who alleged the singer's bodyguard broke his jaw during a confrontation at the entertainer's Calabasas home in 2014.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elaine Lu tossed plaintiff Noel Fisher's suit on Friday after he failed to show up for a final status conference. Fisher also is known as Detail.

Fisher alleged Drake invited him to his residence on June 26, 2014, ostensibly to work on some new music. He alleged Drake's bodyguard, Nessell Beezer, who is also known as Chubbs, punched him and broke his jaw.

The suit alleged Drake and Beezer were angry with Fisher for refusing Drake's offer to be his exclusive producer and that the plaintiff was lured to the home under false pretenses.

Drake watched the confrontation from a few feet away and did not intervene to stop it, the suit alleged.

Beezer maintained he acted in self-defense.

Fisher was nominated for three Grammy Awards in 2015.
